LEICA
Leaders: Marion Dumanoir, Clément Laigle, Philippe Wurtz - PRIMACEN
Duration: two sessions of 45 min - 10 pers/session max
Title: FLIM and STED imaging
Abstract: Nanoscopy techniques like STED drastically improves the 3D resolution in fluorescence microscopy, typically to distinguish the pre- and post-synaptic regions or to describe the reshaping of dendritic spines in brain samples. The recently addition of Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging (FLIM) on Leica STELLARIS STED systems opens even more capabilites : improve the STED image quality using less laser power thus making STED live imaging possible, separate similar dyes using differences in their fluorescence lifetimes for multicolor STED, imaging lifetime-based biosensors for live calcium signaling, for example.

MILTENYI
Leaders: Christian Feuillet - PRIMACEN
Duration: two sessions of 45 min - 10 pers/session max
Title: Revealing cerebellum in 3D through light sheet microscopy
Abstract: The UltraMicroscope Blaze from Miltenyi BioTech is a user-friendly light sheet microscope designed for subcellular 3D imaging of large and multiple samples. In this workshop, we will describe multidimensional resolution and multi-labeling experiments that can be performed. Sample chambers and image processing solutions will also be presented.
